New Release 0.8.0.0 - Feb 8, 2010

A new major version of Autopen has been released. This new version brings a highly requested feature of signature synchronization between computers. I have implemented a ssl based web service for synchronizing your signatures. The service is very light weight and easy to use. There have been some minor bug fixes with the editor and other portions of the extension.

New features:

  • Updated editor interface to create sync accounts.
  • Manual overrides for sychronization issues.
  • Fixed editor double space issue.
  • Updated core libraries and made optimizations.

New Release 0.7.0.0

A new version of Autopen has been released. This new version brings some new functionality and some bug fixes. It has a revamped user interface, you now insert and set signature defaults right from the gmail/apps interface.
You now have 2 types of defaults, the master default allows you to set a signature as a default for any address that doesn have a default signature(you do this from the editor), and you have the address default that you change from the gmail/apps interface(next to the from address).

  • Quick Signature Insert - allows you to remove or change/insert signatures
  • Set default signature for multiple from email addresses
  • New editor Interface for small Screens
  • New full featured rich text editor(with source view for those who want to edit the html)
  • Updates all screens with gmail/apps when you make a change to signatures

  • Set/Change names to your signatures so that they are easy to find
  • Disable any default inserts either for an address or for the master default
  • The editor is open from the Autopen icon(in the gmail/apps interface) or the extensions options button
